Answer:

The colonist began smuggling goods during the 1760s because they were heavily taxed by the British.  The stamp Act affected both colonist and British merchants alike.  Also the British would not permit ships from other countries to trade in America.  The Navigational Act prevented colonist to buy cheaper goods from other countries and because of these unfair conditions, it light the fuse that led to the American Revolution as the colonist desired to be free from British rule and establish their own country.

The dare stones are (blank) stones that could tell us about what happened to the Lost Colony
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

The Dare Stones are a series of stones inscribed with messages, supposedly written by members of the lost Roanoke colony. The colonists were last seen on Roanoke Island (off the coast of what is now North Carolina) in August 1587, and the mystery of their disappearance has since become a part of American folklore.

HALP!!! 50 POINTS PLEASE HELP ME. Summarize the significance of the state's rights issue on the Civil War. must be 150+ words
bulgar [2K]

Alright. States’s right was easily of the biggest issues during the civil war. The main idea is that the Slaving-owning South believed that the Abolitionist North would eventually make slavery illegal, as the North held more political power then the South. They decided that in order to keep the North from using the federal government to abolish slavery, they would weaken the federal government. Thus the concept of State’s rights was used as an argument for Southern leaders and politicians.

Do you think Adam Smith or Karl Marx would be more supportive of globalization? Why?
Anestetic [448]
I think that Adam Smith would be more supportive of globalization of multinational corporations since his major work, the Wealth of Nations dealt with the workings of the capitalist system and supported it. I think that Karl Marx would be strongly opposed to the control that the multi-nationals have over their neo-colonies but at the same time would applaud the way that globalization has developed solidarity between the working class of the different countries such as between the major capitalist countries and the so-called Third World countries.
