What led to the beginning of the Renaissance? A) the rediscovery of ancient national epics such as Beowulf, which led to the ris
kirill115 [55]

The rediscovery of the Greek and Roman classics, which accompanied a flowering of art and culture in Europe led to the beginning of the Renaissance (B).  Renaissance means "rebirth” where it was an era of the revival of classical Greek and Roman texts, art and learning in Europe.

EXPLANATION

This era gave birth to great artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael. Thinkers began translating ancient texts and biblical works into local languages. Trade with the Ottoman Empire was the main cause of the disclosure of ancient texts and art to these Europeans (after centuries, being hidden from European countries).

Trade greatly encouraged the development of the Renaissance because it allowed ideas from other countries to be spread to other countries in Europe. This distribution was most effective through word of mouth and cultural diffusion.

Considering that time the need for silk and other items was very important in Europe, Italy was the most strategic country. Italy was close to the sea and coordinates close to Europe and Asia. Many Italian cities like Venice began to become trading cities. Merchant ships delivered goods to Britain, Scandinavia, and the Soviet Union, which is currently named Russia. Cities along the trade route also began to grow. These cities provided lodging, restaurants and other services for traders.

During the Renaissance, people began using coins to buy goods that created a money economy system. Currency exchange was needed to equalize one type of currency to another so that new professions such as craftsmen, traders and bankers emerged. Craftsmen produced goods to be traded. Bankers created an economic ecosystem by exchanging currencies, debts, and capital.

Some craftsmen, traders, and bankers became very rich. They were able to make the city more beautiful. These people also contributed to protecting the Renaissance by providing art buildings and establishing universities.
