PLEASE BRAINLYIST ME!!!!!!!Answer:

Sikhism is an Indian religion founded by Guru Nanak (1469-1539), which developed in the context of the conflict between the doctrines of Hinduism and Islam during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

The story of Sikhism begins with Nanak, a son of the ruling / warrior caste who lived between 1469-1538 and was born in northern India. He was influenced by holy men of the mystical branches Bhakti, of Hinduism, and Sufi, of Islam. Guru Nanak claimed to be a supreme being, and claimed that all religions used different names for the same deity, which he called Sat Nam ("True Name"). There are many similarities between Sikhism, Hinduism and Sufism (a branch of Islam). Sikh, for example, is the Hindu term for disciple. For the Sikhs, the reason for this is very simple: truth is not limited to one belief.

For Sikhism, God is eternal and formless, being impossible to grasp it in all its essence. He was the creator of the world and human beings and should be the target of devotion and love on the part of humans.

Sikhism teaches that human beings are separated from God because of the egocentrism that characterizes them. This egocentricity (haumai) causes human beings to remain trapped in the cycle of rebirth (samsara) and not achieve liberation, which in Sikhism is understood as union with God. Sikhs believe in karma, according to which positive actions generate positive results and enable a better life and spiritual progress; the practice of negative actions leads to unhappiness and to rebirth in forms considered inferior, as in the form of plant or of animal.

God reveals himself to men through his grace (Nadar), enabling them to attain salvation. The Divine gives himself to listen, revealing himself as a name. According to the teachings of Guru Nanak and the other gurus, only constant remembrance of the name (nam simaram) and the murmured repetition of the name (nam japam) allow humans to free themselves from the haumai.

noname [10]

1) Checks and Balances- This idea is implemented in the Constitution to ensure that no one branch of the federal government gains too much power. For example, the legislative branch(Congress) can approve a bill that will then be sent to the executive branch (President). If the president does not like the bill or thinks that it violates the rights of citizens, he/she can veto the bill. Vetoing the bill stops the bill from becoming a law. This check on power ensures that Congress makes laws that do not violate the rights of citizens.

2) Anti-Federalists do not want to ratify the Constitution unless it includes a Bill of Rights. The Anti-Federalists are worried that the Constitution gives too much power to the federal government. Having a strong central government caused problems when the US was still part of Great Britain. This is why the Anti-federalists are fearful of this type of system.

3) Federalists want a new constitution passed because it will fix America's weak political structure. Before the US Constitution is implemented, the constitution being used is known as the Articles of Confederation. This constitution has an extremely weak central government, allowing for disunity among the states.

stellarik [79]

Answer: Well, as far as inventions go, they pretty much have made our lives what they are to this day. Going father back to the pulley system even, it changed lives and today things continuously change due to them. Cars, computers, phones, technology itself, all inventions. I have always believed advancing out technology can be our savior, and our doom. The savior part of it all will help us further out knowledge and minds. Houses were once invented weren't they? Used to shelter humans from the elements. We have settled this planet and conquered it's terrains with our inventions.

Which effect of industrialization made city centers somewhat unpleasant?
Tanya [424]
I wonder whether there would be also other options, but one very important aspect is the smog: the city center is where many industry-relevant things meet: the factories are all around it, transport, cars... and since it is surrounded by bad air, the air takes longer to dissipate. This is especially visible if the city is in a valley, such as Mexico city foe example.
