• Why is baseball in all its forms – from T-ball to the major leagues – important to Americans of all ages?
Zolol [24]

Baseball is important to Americans of all ages because it evokes a sense of nostalgia and excitement among the younger generation. Unlike basketball or football, an average individual with no real specifications for height and weight can play the game. In the early 20th century, historians note that most of the major American cities had a professional baseball league. Also, Americans are credited for introducing baseball to Japan in the 1870's by an American professor.

Write two to three sentences explaining one way that Ovid creates suspense in "Pyramus and Thisbe." Support your response with d
bezimeni [28]

Answer and Explanation:

Ovid managed to generate suspense in "Pyramus and Thisbe" from the beginning of the narrative, when only young people communicate through a small space between their homes, and they can be discovered at any time by someone who would prevent them from being together. However, the high point of the suspense is portrayed at the end of the poem, when Ovid causes Pyramus to find his beloved's bloody vein and is extremely sad, making the reader unable to know what he will actually do, until he decides he needs to die. Furthermore, the suspense gets even greater when Thisbe finds her beloved dead and decides to have the same end.
