How do I say IN FRENCH:
Ghella [55]
Hi !!

I don't use Google translation as I'm French...
But for once, Google is right.. (I saw your comment on the other answer...

She promised to bring me pictures !

She promised = elle a promis (better to use the passé-compsé than the imparfait)
to bring me = de m'apporter (d'apporter moi = de me apporter = de m'apporter)

pictures = des photos (the pictures would have been "les photos" but "pictures" only = des photos)

Elle a promis de m'apporter des photos ! is the correct translation ...

hope I helped....and for once Google was right (I didn't check...I don't even know how to use it .... It's usually so bad)

The French phrase “ça m’a permis de décrocher” means “it allowed me to switch off”
julia-pushkina [17]

The French phrase “ça m’a permis de décrocher” could be used as an idiom to clearing your head, expressing some personal success for example.

What are idiomatic expressions?

They are characterized as the variations of a language according to cultural aspects of a place, not having a correct translation in the literal sense, but a meaning attributed culturally.

Therefore, in order to learn a language like French, listening, writing, reading and speaking skills are essential for fixing vocabulary, intonation and expressions.
