Hello, hope you are having a wonderful day.

A point has 0 dimensions. It has no length, width, or depth.

So any point in space has 0 dimensions.

Now, a line has 1 dimension.

Rectangles, squares and other shapes have 2 dimensions.

Cylinders, cubes, cones and other figures have 3 dimensions.

Hope it helps. Please mark Brainliest; I really need it.

Good luck.

Answer:

f(-2) = 54

General Formulas and Concepts:

Algebra I

  • Terms/Coefficients

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define

f(x) = 3x(x² + 4x - 5)

f(-2) is x = -2

Step 2: Evaluate

  1. Substitute in x  [Function]:                                                                             f(-2) = 3(-2)[(-2)² + 4(-2) - 5]
  2. [Brackets] Evaluate exponents:                                                                     f(-2) = 3(-2)[4 + 4(-2) - 5]
  3. [Brackets] Multiply:                                                                                         f(-2) = 3(-2)[4 - 8 - 5]
  4. [Brackets] Subtract:                                                                                        f(-2) = 3(-2)[-4 - 5]
  5. [Brackets] Subtract:                                                                                        f(-2) = 3(-2)(-9)
  6. Multiply:                                                                                                           f(-2) = -6(-9)
  7. Multiply:                                                                                                           f(-2) = 54

In a field of ducks and a dog someone counted 25 heads and 80 legs. How many dogs and ducks are there
brilliants [131]
Ducks have 1 head. Dogs have 1 head.
Ducks have 2 feet. Dogs have 4 feet.

If x = no. of ducks and g = no. of dogs

x + g = 25
2x + 4g = 80

Let's use substitution to solve.

x + g = 25 ⇒ x = 25 - g
replace x with 25 - g in the other equation and solve for g

2x + 4g = 80
2(25 - g) + 4g = 80
50 - 2g  + 4g = 80
50 + 2g = 80
2g = 30
g = 15

Now use g = 15 in an earlier equation to find x.

x + g = 25
x + 15 = 25
x = 10
