Prompt Wow! You now know so much about Ecuador! Your friend David, however, knows nothing about it. In a few months, his family

is going on a tour of Spanish speaking-countries, including Spain and several Central and South American countries. He has asked you to help him learn more about those places before his trip. His first trip is to Ecuador. Write David a three-paragraph letter in English, and compare Ecuadorian culture and American culture, especially in terms of foods, sports, transportation, population, and demographics. How is your culture similar to Ecuadorian culture? How is it different? Use a lot of details to help David prepare for the trip, and have fun! You can use the CultureGram link to get ideas and information. (5 points per paragraph) Before you write, take notes on these questions to help you think of what to tell David. 1) What are the five most interesting things you have learned about Ecuador? 1.

Answer:

"<em>The Ecuadorian culture is very different from the American culture because Ecuador has a lot of traditional plates while America has famous fast food restaurants. There is no official language in America yet but in Ecuador it’s Spanish and some people in America speak Spanish as there second language. Some schools in America is mandatory toleran Spanish as their second language while Ecuador all schools are mandatory to learn English as their second language.</em>

<em>America is divided by different states while Ecuador is just divided by cities and towns. Ecuadorians are loud and funny and will joke around a lot. Ceviche is a traditional soup in Ecuador that you should definitely try out. There are not many fancy restaurants in Ecuador but there are a lot of cute things there. There are also many schools and the streets are secured with guards therefore around 13:15 (1:00 pm) you’ll see many kids walking around the streets without their parents.</em>

<em>The most favorited sport there is soccer. There are some soccer fields around but most kids prefer the park. The parks there are huge and have different spots so you can play any sport you want. People in Ecuador are not very fancy but they like to have fun and party with their musics all the way up. The transportation mostly used there are taxis and metrovía (bus). My culture isn’t different at all because I’m Ecuadorian therefore I know all of this information.</em>" -emmaleebueler, Brainly user.

Muchos de mis amigos y parientes viven en otros países. Mi amiga Catalina y (1) You Answered mis misIncorrect or extra word padr
diamong [38]

This exercise stands for two different problems. Let's solve each as follows:

<h2>1. FIRST PROBLEM:</h2>

Here we need to fill in the blank with the correct word. The blanks must be filled with a corresponding Possessive adjective. These are are used to indicate ownership or possession. They agree in both gender and number with the thing possessed, not the possessor. So we have five (5) blanks and they will be filled as follows:

<em>Muchos de mis amigos y parientes viven en otros países. Mi amiga Catalina y </em><em>sus</em><em> padres viven en España; </em><em>mi </em><em>primo Augusto </em><em>sus</em><em> abuelos viven en Guatemala; mis primas Francesca y Paulina viven con</em><em> su</em><em> madre en Canadá; y </em><em>mis</em><em> amigos Diego y Carlos viven en Chile.</em>

Thus, we have the correct options:

<em>(1) sus - </em><em>The possessed thing is </em><em>padres </em><em>(plural form)</em>

<em>(2) mi - </em><em>The possessed thing is </em><em>primo </em><em>(singular form)</em>

<em>(3) sus - </em><em>The possessed thing is </em><em>abuelos </em><em>(plural form)</em>

<em>(4) su - </em><em>The possessed thing is </em><em>madre </em><em>(singular form)</em>

<em>(5) mis -  </em><em>The possessed thing is </em><em>amigos </em><em>(plural form)</em>

<h2>2. SECOND PROBLEM:</h2>

In this second problem, we must give an answer to the corresponding question. Therefore, we have the following dialogues:

<h3>First.</h3>

- ¿Alicia va a venir con sus hermanos?

<em>- No, ella no va a venir con sus hermanos.</em>

The answer here is given in negative form. The question is:

Is Alice going to come with her brothers?

So the answer means:

No, she is not going to come with her brothers.

<h3>Second.</h3>

- ¿Ése es tu lápiz?

<em>- No, ése no es mi l[apiz</em>

The answer here is also given in negative form. The question is:

Is that your pencil?

So the answer means:

No, that isn't my pencil

<h3>Third.</h3>

- ¿Cuál es mi silla?

<em>- Ésta es tu silla.</em>

The answer here is given in positive form. The question is:

Which is my chair?

So the answer means:

This is your chair

<h3>Fourth.</h3><h3 />

- ¿Dónde está la casa de la familia Dávila?

<em>- Allí está su casa.</em>

The answer here is given in negative form. The question is:

Where is the Family Dávila's house?

So the answer means:

There is their house
