As World War II transformed both the United States and the USSR, turning the nations into formidable world powers, competition between the two increased. Following the defeat of the Axis powers, an ideological and political rivalry between the United States and the USSR gave way to the start of the Cold War.

It was different in the sense that the two main protagonists didn’t fight each other directly, but fought proxy wars in other nations. The Soviets aiding and arming one side, the US arming another side. It was a bit like a global chess game in a sense. The US and the Soviets trying to out think each other while building their own empires and depleting the resources of the other. Unfortunately other people and other nations were used as pawns, and the effects are still being felt today.

erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

Clan or family leadership evolved to village or town leadership, which made laws and maintained order.

Explanation:

The transition from clan leadership to town leadership demonstrated a major change from early settlements to complex societies.

Complex societies will have a certain group leading a large amount of people, like village or town leadership.

Also, the creation of laws and order that came with this transition is also a major part of a complex society.
