It seems like in the poem the nature is almost pulling the character in. The nature is depicted as "lovely" and overwhelming and the dark and cold forest still lures the reader in. It could mean that characters are tempted to go back to their own roots, the forest, and escape from their simple safe lives to be one with nature.
