A ceiling fan operates at three speeds, using 120 v of electricity from the wall. At low speeds, it uses 0. 25 a. Calculate the

resistance needed to generate that current. Then in 1-2 sentences, describe how the resistance would change at medium and high speeds if larger currents are needed at those speeds. Your answer should include the calculated resistance and a sentence describing your reasoning.

A) The calculated resistance needed to generate the current at low speed is; R = 480 ohms

B) Resistance at medium and larger speeds are;

At medium speed; R is less than that at low speed

At larger speed; R is less than that at medium speed.

A) We are given;

Voltage; V = 120 V

Current at lower speed; I = 0.25 A

Formula for resistance here is;

R = V/I

R = 120/0.25

R = 480 ohms

B) This means that if larger currents are required at higher speeds, it means that lower resistance would be required.

Similarly at medium currents the resistance will be lesser than that at lower speed but greater than that at larger speeds.

How many grams of nacl are present in 11. 00 moles?
12345 [234]

Answer:

Mass = 642.84 g

Explanation:

Formula for mass is;

Mass = number of moles × molar mass

Molar mass of NaCl = 58.44 g/mol

Thus;

Mass = 11 × 58.44

Mass = 642.84 g

A player earns 30 points for solving an easy puzzle and 60 points for a hard puzzle. Tina solves a total of 50 puzzles playing t
butalik [34]
Tina solved 15 hard puzzles.

We can use the system of equations:

X represents the easy puzzles

Y represents the hard puzzles

x+y=50
3x+6y=195 (I just divided everything by 10 to make things easier)

Then I multiplied the first equation by -3 to be able to cross out x and solve for y.

So now we have -3x-3y=-150.

Now we can add the equations together and we get:

-3x-3y=-150
3x+6y=195
+________
3y= 45

y=15.

That means that Tina solved 15 hard puzzles and 45 easy puzzles.

Hope this helps! (Plz thank)
