Which lines in this excerpt from T. S. Eliot's "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" contain a biblical allusion?
Andrews [41]
I believe the correct answer is <span>C)[To say: “I am Lazarus, come from the dead],
Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all”—
This is an allusion to the Bible given that Lazarus of Bethany is one of the people mention in the Bible. He was important because he represented one of Jesus's miracles - when Lazarus died, Jesus managed to restore him to life four days after his death which was meant to show that he truly is the son of God.

is the American dream still achievable? does the American dream still exists even for people today? i need a shiet paragraphs pl
butalik [34]

Answer:

The American dream would still be considered achievable for some people depending on what they want and what we need. This dream can be achievable but it depends on who is running the country and leading a good one. At the moment I would consider it non existing because of whats happening in the world right now. but that doesn't mean it could never happen and become achievable.

Explanation:

sorry ik its not a paragraph, hope this helps (:

Why might a poet change the meter in a poem from one line to the next
faust18 [17]

Answer:

Adds Versatility and Flair. Even though meter is often consistent and predictable, especially in poems that rhyme or have the same number of syllables in each line, it offers some flexibility and diversity. Change-ups in meter can make poems more interesting and they help change the mood if needed.
