Answer:

They devised a system of weights to help in the sale of products. Angles of pyramids and volume of columns were calculated with great accuracy. In addition, they knew how to calculate the area of squares, rectangles, and circles. Just as we do, ancient Egyptians divided circles into three hundred and sixty degrees.

The anti slavery group was intent on helping African Americans re settle in the Caribbean and Africa
Bezzdna [24]

The anti-slavery group was intent on helping African Americans resettle in the Caribbean and Africa because their life became precarious in the United States.

African Americans have been treating as a second-class citizen in the United States. Moreover, they are always in danger as a consequence of racism.

These groups encourage African Americans to return to the lands of their ancestors and try to persuade them that they can do the same they do in the US, knowing that it´s not easy and is not cheap to return.

These groups try to convince African American that they will have the same rights and opportunities, and what is more important they will be safe in the Caribbean and Africa.

The following is an example of wakefulness: a. Jemma, competing in a marathon b. Mercy, unconscious after being hit on the head
Semmy [17]

Answer:

A, competing in a marathon

Explanation:

Wakefulness is a brain state, a conscious state where an individual is able to think in a cognitive manner and responds to the external world.

The opposite of wakefulness is being asleep, where the external input to the brain is not being processed.

Jemma, competing in a marathon is perfectly aware of her actions and her thinking is clear. In all the other examples, the people are unconscious, or in a sleep or a sleep-alike state (sleepwalking), where their brain is not involved in making decisions or processing information.
