Answer:

The three quarter moving average is 550.

Explanation:

Oct 200

Nov 225

Dec 250 Sum of (200+225+250) = 675

Jan 125

Feb 135

Mar 135 Sum of (125+135+135) = 395

Apr 190

May 200

Jun 190 Sum of (190+200+190) = 580

The three quarter moving average is:

⇒ (675+395+580)

               3

⇒ 550

Answer:

The Forecast demand for the third quarter = 550

Explanation:

When using a three-quarter moving average we need data three previous quarters and in order to calculate a quarter average we need monthly data.

Step 1 : Calculate Average for three quarters prior the current required quarter

1st quarter's Average = (Oct +Nov *Dec) / 3 = (200+225+250)/3 = 225

2nd quarter's Average = (Jan +Feb + Mar)/3 = (125+135+135)/3 = 132

3rd quarter's Average = (Apr + May + Jun)/3 = (190+200+190)/3 = 193

Step 2 : Add all the averages

Demand Average= 193 + 132 + 225 = 550

9. When Margot applies for a loan, she needs to demonstrate to the bank that she has capital. What could she show them to best d
Sidana [21]

Answer:

copies of her mortgage, investment reports, and bank statements

Explanation:

The only option that properly demonstrates her capital would be copies of her mortgage, investment reports, and bank statements. Her mortgage shows the bank that she is able to pay her debt on time every month. Her bank statements show how much money she is spending on a monthly basis. Lastly, her investment reports show all of her assets and how much they are earning per month, all of this combined makes up her capital which is basically the amount of money she has, both liquid and in assets.

Assume that the price elasticity of demand for movie theatres is 20.85 during all evening shows but for all afternoon shows the
zalisa [80]

Answer:

d. Need more information.

Explanation:

Demand elasticity is a microeconomic concept that aims to measure the sensitivity of demand in the face of price changes.

When calculated, elasticity reaches values that signal consumers' response to price. If elasticity is a value between 0 and 1, then demand is inelastic - little sensitive to price changes. If demand is greater than 1, this means elastic - very sensitive to price changes.

The numbers presented by the question show a highly elastic demand for theater ticket prices in both cases, especially in the afternoon shift. Thus, the theater could lower the price of both, because in elastic demands, a negative variation in price will increase the demand. However, this is not enough to calculate profit maximization since the profit calculation formula also involves costs, which are not described in the question.
