Reaction rate and reaction time are two intertwined concepts. Reaction rate refers to how quickly or slowly a reaction occurs while reaction rate refers to the time taken for a particular reaction to occur.
If the reaction rate increases, the reaction time decreases, if the reaction rate decreases, the reaction time increases hence the both quantities are inversely proportional to each other.
