Why is the novel titled "Walk Two Moons?" What is the entire quote, where did it come from in the story, and what does it mean?

Answer:

“Don’t judge a man until you’ve walked two moons in his moccasins.”

Explanation:

It basically means to not judge anyone by their appearance. For example, sometimes people act weird, quiet, or even mean but we can't judge them unless we are in their shoes. We can't judge them unless we understand the why of his/her actions or way of being.

I think it's from page 60.
