In my opinion video games are not the reason for violence in the world today. When making a decision you are fully aware of what you are doing, you either fantasize about it or you think about it and you go on with your life. Video games give in to the delusion of violence it gives the person playing the games pleasure in knowing that they will not have a consequence in reality if they do kill anyone, the thing that does start to change is when the player feels immortal, they can start to fantasize about violence showing signs of mental issue. What I observe is that playing violent video games can give the weak minded ideas and knowing that fact some might see that as a way to get out of trouble with the law.
In conclusion no violent video games do not make people violent in real life, its the weak and sick minded who take advantage of that.
