- the author is limited to what he or she can make the characters do, in a way this affects the characters as well
- in different settings the characters may live different lives due to the environment they live in
- If it is a made up location then the author can do whatever he or she pleases, but if it is a real life location then they have to base the surroundings off of that area

This talk about the change of the treatment of the character towards Myra after they had learned that she was sick. It shows that people changed when they learn something about the people around them and regret that they could have shown a better side of them in the beginning.

Impact Of Sports On Youth
Sports have impacted youth in many ways. Some of them being good, some of them being bad. One of the good reasons would be motivation. If a student has low grades, then you can motivate them by taking them out of the team (or threatening to) until they get their grades up. School first, then sports after.
Another impact that's not so great is team spirit. If a student loves to do sports, but isn't as good as the other team, there's a lot of negativity going on there. That might urge them to quit or give up.
Those are just some of the ways sports have impacted youth, and can impact youth.
