1. Which rhetorical technique (ethos, logos, or pathos) do you think is the most

English

I think that pathos is the most important because it appeals to peoples’ emotions. Logos appeal to an audience’s reason, but mere reason won’t make somebody change. Ethos appeals to people’s status or authority, which makes you more likely to trust them. However, I think that pathos is the most important because it appeals to your emotions. Emotions are very strong and can override everything else. Logic or trust isn’t as important as our true emotions. For example, if you trust somebody, it doesn’t necessarily mean you like them. But overall, this is a matter of perspective. For some people, they may think that logic is the most important. Hope that helps:)

Turn this question into a statement.

"Can money buy you happiness?"
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

Money can buy you happiness

Explanation:

In a standard English yes-or-no question, the verb precedes the subject, often a helping verb like “is,” “must” or “can.” If the question is not yes-or-no, it begins with a question word, like “who,” “what,” “when” or “where.” To turn a question into a statement, remove the question word and put the sentence into standard subject-verb-object order.

What was the initial insult in the cask of amontillado?
Lynna [10]

Answer:

There is no specific insult to Montresor mentioned, but the way that Montresor describes Fortunato's insult makes it seem like it was either very slight or nonexistent. The thousand injuries of Fortunato I had borne as I best could, but when he ventured upon insult I vowed revenge.
