No. I don’t believe that a person should be entitled something just because they “feel” like they deserve it. I think it should be based on if they <em>actually</em> deserve it. Ask these people things like “What good works have you done to deserve this?”…and “Why do you feel entitled to this?” helps.
I’m assuming this is a punctuation question. The correct way would be: Christopher Columbus, born in Genoa, never did reach mainland North America. There should be a comma before and after “born in Genoa”.
