Explanation: From the British point of view, it was only right that American colonists should pay their fair share of the costs for their own defense but because they opposed the taxes on the colonies it caused a very unbalanced economy because of this colonists couldn't pay enough money for taxes which also caused a very unbalanced government between Britain.
