Answer:

Well, there have been many changes for women in the past 100 years. There have been Amendments made for women against discrimination such as the 19th Amendment. The 19th Amendment allowed Women the right to vote. That was passed by Congress and ratified in 1920. But there are many more things to signify that society has changed for women. Business laws have changed to allow more women in the workplace. We have the right to own property, earn an equal wage, and live free from violence and discrimination.

Which sentence in this excerpt from “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman suggests that the narrator may be prone t
Nikitich [7]

Answer: This paper looks to me as if it knew what a vicious influence it had!

In The Yellow Wallpaper, a woman is locked up in a room with yellow wallpaper because she is sick, and her husband, who is a doctor, believes that rest and lack of stimulation can help her get better. However, she feels trapped, and the fact that she has no mental stimulation makes her begin to lose her mind. An example of this is the fact that she is prone to hallucinations. We can see this in the passage, as she states that the paper seemed to know what a bad influence it was.
