What evidence would you expect to find on the moon if it had beensubjected to plate tectonics? do you find such evidenc?
forsale [732]
Hey there!

When we have plate tectonics on our planet, we are subject to some unique phenomena, like:

A Mid-Ocean Ridge
Seafloor spreading
Earthquakes
Volcanos
Mountain Ranges

If the Moon were to have plates, we’d probably see geographic landforms like these, and it’s safe to say the Moon probably only has craters and elevations is because it’s uneven and probably was created from breaking off the Earth or another object. It would also have to have earthquakes and ground movement, and it doesn’t have this- at least that’s as much as we know.

Hope this helps!
