What do you think is happening to the soda and air in the can?

English
1 answer:
Valentin [98]2 years ago
7 0

When the soda can is plunged into cold water, the vapor condenses quickly, leaving a vacuum in most of the can. The resulting large discrepancy between the outside and inside air pressure leads to a large net inward force on the can, ending with its rapid crushing.

Cur and dog mean the same thing denotatively. Which statement best explains why Antony uses the word cur rather than dog to desc
Setler [38]

Answer:

Antony has contempt for Casca and is insulting him.

Explanation:

According to vocabulary dictionary, "A cur is a dog that isn't very good — or is a mixed breed. ... When you use the word cur, you're talking about a dog that's either a mutt, very unattractive, aggressive, or all three. The word can also be used as an insult for a person, especially a despicable man."

Anthony's choice to use cur instead of dog to describe Casca implies his contempt and an intent to insult.
