Before 1942, Chinese military force fought against Japan in Southeastern Asia with British soldiers. But within the borders of China, only Chinese military force, nobody else. Until 1945, when the war was heading to the end, former Soviet Union troops participated in wiping Japanese from the northeast of China. We should not forget that a big number of American volunteer pilots joined the efforts of Chinese government in protecting the flight routes between Chongqing, temporary capital of China, and international supplies. Most of them were cargo flight pilots. Chinese people called them "Flying Tiger".

What was the general impression of the good and bad on Robespierre's
arlik [135]
Robespierre was a controversial French figure during the French Revolution who became a leader of the revolution and a spokesman for the revolutionary cause. His record is controversial because he sought to create a "virtuous republic" through quick and swift justice, which was essentially the use of execution to rid France of anyone against the revolution that swept France. Many accused Robespierre of being a tyrant or dictatorial and eventually he was executed himself.

Was the United States successful in early containment of communism?
Zina [86]

Answer:

Yes, it was. In fact, the containment policy prevented communism from expanding from Eastern Europe to other nations in Western Europe, Southern Asia or the Americas.

Explanation:

Containment was the foreign policy strategy adopted by the United States after World War II, aimed at stopping the extension of the Soviet zone of influence beyond its limits reached in March 1947 and at countering the states likely to adopt communism.

Mostly, support to foreign states was through financial aid, notably with the Marshall Plan, but also military with the creation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Containment was an important part of the Truman Doctrine, which aimed to actively intervene in support of foreign political regimes in order to fight communism.
