The best ways for a person to quickly learn are:

  • Make a summary of the text you are reading
  • Go through them and make sure you have basic knowledge of the concepts.
  • Makee notes.
  • Make use of mnemonics to learn and recall difficult words

For a student who needs to read and understand quickly in time for a quiz or an exam, then he would have to make sure that he makes a summary and is ready to spend some times memorizing mnemonics ot help him understand and recall difficult words.
