Answer:

Explanation:

Two dissimilar things is Whitman comparing when he uses the metaphor of a little house:

The poet Walt Whiteman has talked about the perfumes or smell of anything like a metaphor. He has related the sense of smell with memories. He has talked about the smell of a house or a room. Also, at the same time, he has talked about the smell of books on the shelves.

The two dissimilar things he has mentioned were specific about the house memories. One is the smell of the house or the room and the other is the smell of the books on the shelves. All the above two things remind us about our past memories.

Answer:

Setting your own goals is important because having goals means to make a focus in life.

Explanation:

If we have a goal in our life means we have something to focus on.

A person knows what he needs to achieve or what he can achieve. Then, that person also motivates himself to strive for it. Since that person is the one who needs to achieve that goal and work hard for it, someone else should not set goals for us.

Someone else doesn’t know our potential, neither he knows how we would work towards it. So, it is essential that we set our own goals and not someone else.

How do the phrases “star-cross’d lovers” and death-mark’d love” introduce the themes of love and fate in the prologue to Romeo a
olga_2 [115]
In Romeo and Juliet, it’s foreshadowed from the start that Romeo and Juliet are both going to die. Throughout the play, we see several deaths and themes of violence, that all occurred because of Romeo and Juliet’s love. Romeo and Juliet both eventually die, out of love for each other. After this, their families make peace. They are “star-crossed lovers” and “death-mark’d love” because their fate was to die in order to heal their family’s rivalry. Hope this helped :)
