After reading the excerpt from "Acceptance," by Barbara Winkler, we can match the options and the characters in the following manner:

 • Stage directions include exuberant and vigorously, which help the reader understand meaning. - Stephanie
 • Stage directions include listlessly and despondently, which help the reader understand meaning. - Anthony
 • The majority of this character's dialogue creates a somber mood. - Anthony
 • The majority of this character's dialogue creates an optimistic mood. - Stephanie
 • This character's dialogue has a negative tone. - Anthony
 • This character's dialogue has a positive tone. - Stephanie

What happens in the excerpt?

 • Anthony has applied to seven colleges, and he has already been rejected by six of them. When he talks, his disappointment in himself is clear. Stage directions in his dialogue include "listlessly" and "despondent" to convey his feelings.
 • On the other hand, Stephanie, Anthony's sister, is happy and cheerful. She knows Anthony has been accepted by the seventh college and is trying to tell him that. Stage directions in her dialogue include "exuberant" and "vigorously".

With the information above in mind, we can see that the answers above were properly matched.

Give 16 different paragraphs of facts about Canada. HURRY MY GRADE IS DUE SOON AND THE TEACHER!!! IS BEING UNFAIR.
agasfer [191]

Answer:

i'm not gonna write it, but i'm going to give you some ideas

Explanation:

don't panic. look at her directions and what she wants you to write, if she has any directions regarding organization or anything like that.

if not, here's what i would do. have one opening paragraph talking about canada, introducing the topic, etc. (intro paragraph)

then, have 14 other paragraphs talking about thngs like politics, sports, food, interesting facts, anything you can find the internet, really. just talk about whatever you can find and put it into 14 paragraphs.

then, for your final paragraph, do the conclusion and wrap up your topic.

good luck. i wish you the best. :) (if you can, contact your teacher if you need help/instructions/are confused)
