3. The extreme ______ of his stock portfolio translated into a ______ display of emotion: on lucrative days he felt ecstatic; on
LenKa [72]

Answer:

volatility...mercurial

Explanation:

The second part of the sentence helps us infer its meaning; it denotes changes in one's mood. From the first part of the sentence, then, we can see that these mood swings mimicked changes in his stock portfolio.

Basically, depending on the balance on his stock portfolio, the person was either ecstatic either depressed.

Now that we've infered the context of the sentence, it's not hard to see that the word pair we're looking for has to do something with changes, variability, inconsistency, tendency to easily fluctuate in short period of the time.

The only pair that could fit in this description is "volatility...mercurial".

Create a description of a street you see from your window. What kind of people and transport are there? Are there any shops and
Gnesinka [82]
Willow street. It’s right outside my window. I star at it endlessly every single day. I see the happy kids walk past. They joke with each other. I wish I had that. I look across the street at the local park. I see young couples fall in love there. I see dogs run around with each other. Sometimes, I think the outside of my window is just too perfect. Sometimes when I crack my brown dusty window open I can even hear how happy everyone is. I wish I could go there. Be that happy.

hope this helps! Have a good day!
If you are turning this in for something I suggest running it though grammarly because spelling is not my thing.
