The characteristic anticipated by the author which may be true of some members of the audience is that: D . They have a basic understanding of the combat tactics used by Lakota warriors.

The Sioux Nation were the original inhabitants of about 200,000 square kilometers (km^2) in the present day state of South Dakota in the United States of America.

Based on historical records, the Sioux Nation was divided into three (3) main linguistic and geographic groups and these include:

  • Nakota (Yankton, Central Dakota)
  • Dakota (Santee, Eastern Dakota).
  • Lakota (Teton, West Dakota).

The Lakota lived and hunted all over the Rocky Mountain ranges because they were a powerful and fiercely strong tribe. Thus, this tribe had many leaders and warriors who were legends.

In light of the above, the author anticipated that some members of the audience have a basic understanding of the combat tactics that were used by Lakota warriors.

Underline each dangling modifier . If a sentence is correct , write correct
damaskus [11]
1) skating across the pond
2) studying for weeks
3) correct.
4) writing letters at camp
5) finishing the dishes
6) greeting the guest
7)correct
8) this was more complicated but I think it's correct
9) watching television
10) lost in a strange city

Okay, so these are actually really easy once you get it. Basically, if the noun after the comma isn't what was doing the action then it is wrong (unless it was stated before the comma) for example

”Forgetting to do homework, the paper was turned in late.”
That's wrong because it makes it seem like the paper was the one who forgot to do their homework. You could fix it by saying
“forgetting to do my homework, I turned the paper in late”

Hope I helped!
