Answer: A - How much the speaker loves the tree

Explanation:

The speaker is comparing in this stanza the importance of his heart to his life and the tree's bark and it's life he does this by stating that his heart (Or life) is as close to the tree as the tree's own bark. Meaning that it could not be D or B; The reason it is not C is because of it not showing how determined he is to save the tree, only showing that he dearly loves the tree. The only other option is A.

What doest this phrase from suggest? In the dying sunlight the people dragged, rather than their empty cotton sacks
Talja [164]

Answer:

This sentence personifies the sun because it refers to it as something that can die. This personification gives the reader an image and feeling of loss and sadness. The sun dies and so does the worker's hope for decent pay and a better future.

If you're confronted by a difficult situation online, and you don't know exactly how to handle it, what should you do?
ki77a [65]

Well, it depends on what kind of situation you're in. But the best advice is to handle it the best you can. If you really have no idea how to improvise in the situation, search on the internet to see if other people have experienced what you're going through, and follow some advice that would seem like it would really help in your situation.
