Answer: It states that "Human characteristics are given to objects" And "Two objects are personified" So this means two 'objects' aka the people kissing are moving and creating an action. Actions can be made as objects and I'm not sure about the celebration half.. sorry.

Explanation:

I think this is incorrect, I'm not very good at this but you can edit it and change it up. Sorry about my answer before, I wanted points but didn't realize how rude that was.

Which sentence uses an infinitive as the object of the verb?
elena-s [515]

Answer: C. Martha's lawsuit was useful to punish the corporation for failing to pay its taxes over an eight year period.

Explanation:

In this sentence we can recognize infinitive direct-object phrase - to pay.

They can be found if we can ask a question ''what'' and in this case we are asking ''Martha's lawsuit was useful to punish what'' and then we are getting the answer which is ''to punish corporation for...'' In those kind of sentences when we are looking for the object of the verb, we must try to recognize if the infinitive phrase that we have(to punish in this case, and to pay) is making sense.

In this sentence we are having a direct object.

A paragraph comparing the devil and tom walker and the princess and the frog
levacccp [35]

The devil is compared to Tom Walker as the story depicts the love for possessions and the ways in which this love gives shape to relationships. The dialogues include words as belongings, rights of possession, all very diabolic feelings. The princess and the frog are connected by the will of the princess  who wants to return the frog to his shape of a man so that she can marry him and they can both reign together .It is a relationship which is born also from the desire to be powerful and to have more than the others have. The admiration of wealth and power is of an infernal nature.
