the complete question in the attached figure

we know

the pool in the drawing is 15x7.5    and the scale is 3/1000

then

if the size in the drawing  is 3----------------------> the actual is 1000

15------------------------------------< X

x=15*1000/3=5000 cms----- > 50 m

and

if the size in the drawing  is 3----------------------> the actual is 1000

7.5------------------------------------< X

x=7.5*1000/3=2500 cm--------> 25 m

the actual area of the pool is 50*25=1250 m²

the answer is 1250 m²

What is the missing coefficient?
Afina-wow [57]

For this case we have the following expression:

(15x ^ 2 + 11y ^ 2 + 8x) - (7x ^ 2 + 5y ^ 2 + 2x) =

We eliminate the parentheses taking into account that:

- * + = -\\15x ^ 2 + 11y ^ 2 + 8x-7x ^ 2-5y ^ 2-2x

We add similar terms:

15x ^ 2-7x ^ 2 + 11y ^ 2-5y ^ 2 + 8x-2x =

Different signs are subtracted and the sign of the major is placed:

8x ^ 2 + 6y ^ 2 + 6x

Finally, the expression is reduced to:

8x ^ 2 + 6y ^ 2 + 6x

Answer:

8x ^ 2 + 6y ^ 2 + 6x

Option B

A fair die is rolled 5 times. What is the probability of rolling a three at least once
Nata [24]

Answer:

0.83333333

Step-by-step explanation:

since usually if a dice is rolled 6 times. the probability of rolling a three would be 1/6th as there are even sides on a dice and even probabilities. You would divide 5 by 6 instead of 6 by 6 meaning that the probability is 0.83333 recurring

You invest $2,500.00 in a stock plan, buying 125 shares. If each share increases in value by 10%, how much is each share worth?
9966 [12]
You work out the price of each share:
$2500 ÷ 125 = $20 each
10% of that is $2, which added on means the share is worth $22

Hope it helps:-)

X = t - 3, y equals two divided by quantity t plus five
nekit [7.7K]
X = t - 3 is also -t = -x - 3 or t=x+3

Substitute it in

y=2/t+5
y=2/(x+3)+5

Let y=0 to solve for x

0=2/(x+3)+5
-5= 2/(x+3)
-10=x+3
-7=x

Now solve for t

t = x+3
t = (-7)+3
t = -4

Now we can solve for y

y = 2/(-4)+5
y = -0.5+5
y = 4.5

To check

4.5 = 2/(-4) + 5
4.5 = -0.5 + 5
4.5 = 4.5

-7 = -4 - 3
-7 = -7

Therefore
x = -7
y = 4.5
t = -4
