Which of the following lines
Luden [163]

All that he had learned only made him feel how little he knew in comparison to what remained, these lines from "True Stories of History and Biography" uses a tone that reveals Hawthorne's attitude toward Isaac Newton.

Who was Hawthorne's?

The dismal romantic novels and short stories of American author Nathaniel Hawthorne (born July 4, 1804, died May 19, 1864) are well-known. His works typically touch on history, religion, and morality.

His family had a lengthy history in Salem, Massachusetts, where he was born in 1804. In 1821, Hawthorne enrolled at Bowdoin College. In 1824, he was accepted into Phi Beta Kappa, and in 1825, he graduated.

His first book, Fanshawe, was out in 1828, but he later tried to bury it since he thought it wasn't up to the standard of his later novels.

He wrote several short stories for publications, which he eventually collected as Twice-Told Tales in 1837.

Who was Isaac Newton?

The most talented English mathematician of his day was Isaac Newton. For differential and integral calculus, he laid the groundwork. He is one of the best scientists the world has ever known thanks to his studies on optics and gravitation.

He also provided the groundwork for contemporary physical optics when he identified the phenomenon of white light combined with colors.

His well-known mechanics "three laws of motion" and the development of the gravitational "laws" fundamentally altered the course of physics all across the world. In mathematics, he was the creator of calculus.

He is regarded as a wonderful gift from nature to the field of physics.

Hence, option A is correct.

When a character is revealed by clear descriptions by the author, this is called _____ characterization.
MAVERICK [17]

Answer:

Direct

Explanation:

Typically, characterization as used in writing fiction, can be categorized into two: indirect or direct.

Indirect characterization – also known as implicit characterization – is done by describing the character through his or her actions, thoughts, and conversation with others. Thus, in this style of writing you will not see the author stating openly that, for example, “Sherlock Holmes is a brilliant man.” Rather, perhaps, the author would use how others treat him, or how quickly he deduces things around him as a way to describe the kind of individual Sherlock Holmes is.

In contrast, the question above is a statement describing how direct characterization works, which is to say, a characterization style where characterizations of an individual are described explicitly, commonly in a form of narrative.

PLSSS!! you don’t have to write the whole thing just the introduction!
Marina86 [1]
A very large number of people nowadays chooses the comfort lie rather than the painful truth, why’s that you ask? Well it’s because we avoid these realities because we’re afraid of how these experiences will make us feel.

Some people chooses to lie their way out of a situation to save themselves saying “small lies don’t matter” or “I lie to protect the feelings of others”. Those people that say those ‘protects’ themselves from the potential pain and consequences that are expected to experience from their feelings or even their own judgement.

In my opinion, the truth will always be the priority in every situation, no matter how painful it is, it’s better to take in that truth than take that comfortable lie that could possibly damage relationships in the future. Even if it hurts others, it’s always better to be honest to them so it doesn’t do much damage anymore. Not telling the truth can be bitter and severe a lot more aspects in your life. Honesty is all about the emotional truth in any situation.
