Answer:

the first system

Step-by-step explanation:

if you put each equation into slope-intercept form you get:

y ≤ -3/5x + 2

y < x - 5

y < -5x + 6

if you place all three equations into a graphing calculator the result will look identical to the graph

In the circle below, suppose m VUX = 152° and mZUVW = 77º. Find the following.
bezimeni [28]

Given:

In the circle, m(\overarc{VUX})=152^\circ and m(\angle MUV)=77^\circ.

To find:

The following measures:

(a) m\angle VUX

(b) m\angle UXW

Solution:

According to the central angle theorem, the central angle is always twice of the subtended angle intercepted on the same same arc.

m(VUX)=2\times m\angle VWX

152^\circ=2\times m\angle VWX

\dfrac{152^\circ}{2}=m\angle VWX

76^\circ=m\angle VWX

In a cyclic quadrilateral, the opposite angles are supplementary angles.

UVWX is a cyclic quadrilateral. So,

m\angle VUX+m\angle VWX=180^\circ          [Opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral]

m\angle VUX+76^\circ=180^\circ

m\angle VUX=180^\circ-76^\circ

m\angle VUX=104^\circ

Now,

m\angle UXW+m\angle UVW=180^\circ          [Opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral]

m\angle UXW+77^\circ =180^\circ

m\angle UXW=180^\circ-77^\circ

m\angle UXW=103^\circ

Therefore, m\angle VUX=104^\circ  and m\angle UXW=103^\circ .

The deck on a home is shaped like a parallelogram. The parallelogram has an area of 544.5 ft2 and a base measurement of 16.5 ft.
defon

<u><em>Answer:</em></u>

The height of the parallelogram is 33 ft

<u><em>Explanation:</em></u>

<u>The area of the parallelogram can be calculated using the following rule:</u>

Area of parallelogram = base * height

<u>In the problem, we are given that:</u>

Area = 544.5 ft²

Base = 16.5 ft

<u>Substitute with the given values in the above equation and solve for the height as follows:</u>

Area = base * height

544.5 = 16.5 * height

height = \frac{544.5}{16.5} = 33 ft

Hope this helps :)

On a coordinate grid, 1 square unit equals 14 square mile. A rectangular walking path has vertices at (−4, 5) (1, 5), (−4, -5) a
AfilCa [17]

Answer:

126 square miles

Step-by-step explanation:

So I just draw a grid and mark the thingies (sorry my math vocabulary is not very good)

So you get a rectangle that is 5x9 if you connect the dot thingies and 9 square units is 14 square miles and 9x14=126. Using a coordinate grid makes it easier to visualize what you’re doing
