The groups of native people incorrectly labeled “Indians” by Columbus were actually a diverse mix of different tribes which spanned the islands of the Greater and Lesser Antilles. The people Columbus encountered are known as the Tainos. The different groups that lived in the Bahamas at the time of his arrival were the Eastern, Western, and Classic Tainos; the Island-Caribs; and a small group called the Guanahatabeys. According to most recent findings, the natives were spread out among the large and small islands of the Caribbean, with the Tainos dominating the landscape. Well, I would have refrained more from attacking to not cause any troubles but assist my allies as they are fighting their enemies. Also, I would have gained more dominance over the small countries before going for the big ones.
In March 1638, Anne Hutchinson was banished from Massachusetts Bay Colony, the reason was that she had become a spiritual leader and challenged male authority. She preached to both men and women, meaning she opposed the authority of the religious leaders of the Bay Colony. They accused her for heresy, as she critized the puritans beliefs. The real reason was that she indirectly questioned the stablished roles, as men were the only ones that could preach, therefore more women could rebel. Saying she had a direct rebelation from god and that she was able to interpret the scriptures was the final things that made it possible to them to excommunicate her.
