Answer:

It gave an example of a representative government body.

Explanation:

The Parliament mentioned here, is the Parliament of United Kingdom, which was established in 1801. While USA does not use a similar system nowadays, in the beginning, the idea of House of Representatives, can be said to be inspired by UK’s parliament, which consisted of House of Lord and House of Commons. The UK, however, operates constitutional monarchies, while the USA, operates a federal republic.

Was the Vietnam War overwhelmingly popular among American civilians?
ElenaW [278]
At early stages, yes, very soon they lost all popularity, even among the conservatives. That is because at first the idea behind it was that it was honorable and good because it stopped communism. Very soon everyone realized what kind of a hell the war was and that it was pointless and that there would be no problems with them even if they did turn into a Communist state. The negative effect it had on people was unspeakable.

The main thing that would be different is that the United States would not exist. This would be a huge difference because it would mean that the European countries would probably still dominate the world. There are so many ways this could have played out, though.
