China has two rivers like Mesopotamia! The yellow and the Yangtze! Mesopotamia, Egypt and China all went through periods of warring states, where there was no centralized leader, or a weak one. Powerful families would take over one another acting sort of like states. Religiously I’m not sure because China has always been fairly against religion, economically China was able to be mostly independent because it was so vast and didn’t need for anything.
