what's up? i don't think this has rotational symmetry. this is because the point at the top juts way too much out for it to look the same when rotated. also, the 3 lines on the bottom are straight so they could not make this shape look the same anyway

best of luck with your studies

What is the equation of a line that passes through the points (0,5) and (4,8)?
nikdorinn [45]
A linear function has the form y=mx+b
if you insert the point (0,5) in this you receive:
5=m*0+b
5=b
(remember b is the distance to the x axis at x=0, so you can read it directly of)

To get m you insert (4,8) and the previous b:
8=m*4+5
3=4m
3/4=m

your line is: y=3/4x+5

Find the sum of 6(1-a^2), -2(3-a+2a^2) and 5(-2a+3a^2)
sasho [114]

Answer:

5a^2-8a

Step-by-step explanation:

6(1-a^2)-2(3-a+2a^2)+5(-2a+3a^2)

(6)(1)+(6)(-a^2)+(-2)(3)+(-2)(-a)+(-2)(2a^2)+(5)(-2a)+(5)(3a^2)

6+-6a^2+-6+2a+-4a^2+-10a+15a^2

(-6a^2+-4a^2+15a^2)+(2a+-10a)+(6+-6)

5a^2-8a
