This means that the societies were not large, but consisted of smaller number of people, and the groups were made out of the extended family or few families.
The Caddos, on the other hand, were having sedentary life according to their dwellings. They most probably lived in area suitable for agriculture, so they produced their own food, thus having no need to change their location of living.
