No, this is false.

Just because you are using your own words does not mean that you're not copying or stealing the ideas of others. So even if you paraphrase, you should give the source of the idea. Amid the thought of the fiery destruction that impended, the idea of the coolness of the well came over my soul
Neporo4naja [7]

Answer:

Explanation: Amid the thought of the fiery destruction that impended, the idea of the coolness of the well came over my soul like balm. I rushed to its deadly brink. I threw my straining vision below. The glare from the enkindled roof illumined its inmost recesses. Yet, for a wild moment, did my spirit refuse to comprehend the meaning of what I saw. At length it forced-it wrestled its way into my soul-it burned itself in upon my shuddering reason. O for a voice to speak!-oh, horror!-oh, any horror but this! With a shriek I rushed from the margin and buried my face in my hands-weeping bitterly.

Based on this excerpt, what can be inferred about Oliver's neighbors is C. they think he is a bit peculiar, yet they revere him.
You can see this in the abstract because they say they find his behavior quite odd, and sometimes don't even understand him, or may be afraid of him, yet when he is in trouble, everybody takes care of him and everyone is actually there for him.
