Answer:

Presented in the guise of an economic treatise, the essay proposes that the country ameliorate poverty in Ireland by butchering the children of the Irish poor and selling them as food to wealthy English landlords. Swift's proposal is a savage comment on England's legal and economic exploitation of Ireland.

The idea with the app was not to make money, but to make things a little easier for people. Write this in past perfect tense?
Eddi Din [679]

Answer:

past tenses fully explained

The past perfect is made from the verb had and the past participle of a verb:

I had finished the work.

She had gone.

The past perfect continuous is made from had been and the -ing form of a verb:

I had been working there for a year.

They had been painting the bedroom.

The past perfect is used in the same way as the present perfect, but it refers to a time in the past, not the present. We use the past perfect:

for something that started in the past and continued up to a given time in the past:

When George died, he and Anne had been married for nearly fifty years.

She didn't want to move. She had lived in Liverpool all her life.

For this use, we often use the past perfect continuous:

She didn't want to move. She had been living in Liverpool all her life.

Everything was wet. It had been raining for hours.

for something that happened several times before a point in the past and continued after that point:

He was a wonderful guitarist. He had been playing ever since he was a teenager.

He had written three books and he was working on another one.

when we are reporting our experience up to a point in the past:

My eighteenth birthday was the worst day I had ever had.

I was pleased to meet George. I hadn’t met him before, even though I had met his wife several times.

for something that happened in the past and is important at a later time in the past:

I couldn't get into the house. I had lost my keys.

Teresa wasn't at home. She had gone shopping.

We often use expressions with for and since with the past perfect:

I was sorry when the factory closed. I had worked there for ten years.

I had been watching that programme every week since it started, but I missed the last episode.

We do not normally use the past perfect continuous with stative verbs. We use the past perfect simple instead:

HELP ASAP!! WILL MARK AS BRAINLIEST!! DUE TOMORROW!!
swat32

Answer:

hey rach! i hope this will help you.  I wrote some opinions of mine!

Explanation:

In my opinion nobody would have to be judged for their sexual orientation. We are all the same. I am Catholic, and I do not judge people by their orientation, I judge them by their personality, if they are good people, if they are kind, if they are respectful. That would also have to be seen by others. No one can tell you who you have to like. And it seems horrible to me that LGBT people have to endure so many things just because they love themselves and go out into the world to show their love. God said dawn to each other as I have loved you.

It also greatly influences the education that your parents give you. If your parents tell you that you don't have to judge people, if they've raised you well, you're going to be good people and accept the other as they are. But if your family gave you a macho education, which tells you that women are useless, that you are the owner of your girlfriend, wife. No that's a lie, nobody owns anyone. Because people are not objects.

Here are some info:

Nearly seven in 10 lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) people have been sexually harassed at work, according to research for the Trades Union Congress revealing a “hidden epidemic”.

This survey, published on the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia , found that more than two in five LGBT people (42%) said they had experienced colleagues making unwelcome comments or asking unwelcome questions about their private life. More than a quarter (27%) He reported receiving unwelcome or inappropriate, verbal unwanted treatment.

Two-thirds (66%) They said they didn't tell their employer about harassment for fear of reprisals.

The survey found LGBT women were more likely to experience unwanted touching and sexual assault at work. More than a third (35%) reported experiencing unwanted touching, for example hands placed on their lower back or knee, I don't know why men think that if you are a lesbian they can touch you without a problem.

More than one-fifth (21%) reported experiencing sexual assault, for example unwanted touching of the breasts, buttocks or genitals, or attempts to kiss them, while one in eight (12%) LGBT women said they had been seriously sexually assaulted or raped at work.
