yet, some people do bully. Understanding why will be able to help us combat bullying. Some reasons are:

- wanting to gain respect from other bullies - to feel appreciated and respected
- wanting to be feared - some people have a higher self esteem if they are feared. <span>
-specific financial gains - some bullies steal from their victims
-protect themselves from bullying

So, these are the goals of the bullies. Our goals should be:
-helping the bullied
-preventing bullying
-understanding the reasons for bullying and helping the bully to solve their problems
-giving acceptance to people so that they do not need to seek acceptance in other ways
