The Vietnam War:

The Vietnam war took place between 1955-1975 between North Vietnam and South Vietnam. The US joined the war because it feared the spread of communism in Asia.

The reason behind US losing the war was the lack of support from the countrymen. The country got divided into protestors and supporters of the war.

The American public opposed the war as America was in supporting the South Vietnamese government but the Vietnamese government did not want American troops in the country. The enemy was not clear.

The draft was also questioned as it says sending sons, fathers, and brothers into the army. The public did not find it worthy and hence it faced opposition.

Many people who were sent to the army lost their lives and their sacrifice did not change anything in the country. The American public want the government to fight for freedom and equality but the goals of this war were unclear.

Hence the correct options are A, C, D, and E.
