In Oceania, most towns began as b)colonial ports. This was mostly the coastal ports, ships from Europe would come into and where trade would flourish as they would bring people (from Europe) and things they found in Oceania would be brought back to Europe. The towns would grow bigger, as more people moved to the coastal parts (settlers).
