Its important to have branches equal to one another so that neither branch have more power over the other.

Explanation:

The legislative, executive and judicial branches keep each other in line and prevent one branch of our government from becoming more powerful than the others. If it wasn’t for the U.S. Constitution, one branch could possibly overrun the country and harm citizens. This system was built so that one of the branches of government can never have too much power; therefore, one branch of government is controlled by the other two branches. Each branch of government checks the power of the other branches to be sure that every branch has equal power.
