Which of the following defines tone? the attitude of the author the way the author arranges sentences the amount of dialogue use
Irina-Kira [14]
The option that defines tone is the first one - the attitude of the author. So, the way an author writes in his or her novel is their attitude towards the subject itself, which determines the tone of the novel too. For example, Poe often wrote dark and dreary stories, thus his tone is usually quite pessimistic and mysterious.

Who had to fight wars against the French and the Americans to gain its independence
Karolina [17]
The answer is Vietnam. After the Japanese were defeated in 1945, communist movement called the Viet Minh led by Ho Chi Minh began a campaign for independence From France. In 1946, Vietnamese guerillas began to fight the French in the First Indochina War. They defeated the French at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu and won their Independence in 1954. This lead to the emergence of two Vietnams: The communist North and the democratic South. North began to invade the South which led to U.S. intervention. Despite modern artillery and air support, the U.S. was not able to defeat the North and later withdrew its forces from Vietnam and later the country was united under rule of the communist. Today Vietnam has changed much of its policies and has now welcome foreign investments and capitalist entrepreneurs to do business in the country.

Does the following describe a critic or a reviewer?
Gemiola [76]

Answer:

The correct answer is a Reviewer.

Explanation:

The beginning of the description states that this particular person reports and offers an opinion, but later it says that he or she doesn't handle any special knowledge of the topic treated, therefore, it's a reviewer. Critics do absolutely need to have deep knowledge and wide information about the topic.
