Answer:

D. is the correct answer!

Explanation:

A ziggurat (/ˈzɪɡʊˌræt/; Akkadian: ziqqurratum, D-stem of zaqārum 'to protrude, to build high', cognate with other Semitic languages like Hebrew zaqar (זָקַר) 'protrude') is a type of massive structure built in ancient Mesopotamia. It has the form of a terraced compound of successively receding stories or levels. Notable ziggurats include the Great Ziggurat of Ur near Nasiriyah, the Ziggurat of Aqar Quf near Baghdad, the now destroyed Etemenanki in Babylon, Chogha Zanbil in Khūzestān and Sialk. The Sumerians believed that the Gods lived in the temple at the top of the Ziggurats, so only priests and other highly respected individuals could enter. Society offered them many things such as music, harvest, and creating devotional statues to leave in the temple.

Answer:

D

Explanation:

The ziggurat itself is the base on which the White Temple is set. Its purpose is to get the temple closer to the heavens, and provide access from the ground to it via steps. The Mesopotamians believed that these pyramid temples connected heaven and earth.

Answer:

Neoconfucionismo

Explanation:

Neo-Confucianism was a very popular philosophy during Song dysnastia, being widely referenced in all forms of art, including painting.

The blank space, purposely left by the artists in the paintings, referred to the metaphysical nature of neoconfucionism, since it encompassed the metaphysical freedom concept, capable of leading human thought to enlightenment and rational development, based on what actually exists, such as emptiness.

how has the time period in which oedipus the king has written affects the themes. what beliefs were changing or shifting
raketka [301]
The main themes of the play are: fate and free will with the inevitability of oracular predictions is a theme that often occurs in Greek tragedies the conflict between the individual and the state similar to that in Sophocles’ “Antigone” and  people’s willingness to ignore painful truths both Oedipus and Jocasta clutch at unlikely details in order to avoiding facing up to the inceasingly apparent truth and sight and blindness the irony that the blind seer Tiresius can actually “see” more clearly than the supposedly clear-eyed Oedipus<span>, who is in reality blind to the truth about his origins and his inadvertent crimes.
