1. One factor of why some Loyalists might oppose independence is that, if they went to war with Britain, they would lose all their wealth since they depend on trading with Britain. They wanted to keep all of their wealth and land.

2. Another factor might be that most of them thought that the colonies had no chance against Britain in war. Britain had a huge advantage since they had a large and well trained army and the colonies didn’t. They basically thought that the colonies could not survive on their own without Britain.

The passage of that law marked a turning point in the civil rights movement?
nekit [7.7K]
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 marked a huge turning point in the Civil Rights movement. This law made it so that employers could not discriminate against candidates based on race, gender, religion, or birth place. This law helped to ensure that African-Americans would be able to be judged based on their qualifications/skills rather than their skin color. Any employer who broke this law could face federal charges.

Players compete to hit or drive a golf ball as far as possible in the long drive sport. Professional tournaments and exhibitions include top long drives in competition.

Professional long drivers can average over 356 yards (320 m) in competition, compared to top PGA Tour drivers' averages of 305 yards (274 m) and the typical amateur's 225 yards (201 m).
