Both the United States and Canada are , but with different methods of government. The US is a <em>republic</em>, with a<em> congress and a president</em>, who is, at the same time, the head of state and the head of government. Also, there is separation of powers. Canada has a prime minister, who is a member of the <em>parliament.</em> There are two official languages in Canada.
I cannot create a pamphlet or anything, but I can tell you some coping strategies to go into highschool.
Highschool is not as bad as the movies make it sound, so don't turn to them for help. Just be calm, and relax! The night before your first day of school, don't think about it too much, or you can stress yourself out before you even get there. Just set out your things, such as clothes, school supplies, etc, so you're not rushing around in the morning.

The Tigris and Euphrates rivers in Mesopotamia were erratic. The rivers would flood or drought unpredictably and even shift their courses. Also, the Tigris had high banks which meant water irrigated from it would have to be drawn upward from the banks.
The Nile on the other hand followed a consistent annual inundation that brought water and fertile silt deposits right onto the crop fields. Egyptian farmers simply had to wait for the flood to recede some and plant their crops; the water and nutrient soil was already provided by the River.
The first labour organization that began in 1866 was the National Labour Union.
