the act of copying another person’s ideas, words or work and pretending they are your own; something that has been copied in this way.

The consequences of plagiarism are:-

1) Plagiarism can get you expelled from your course, college and/or university.

2)Plagiarism can result in your work being destroyed.

3) Plagiarism can result in legal action, fines and penalties etc.
